My workhorse lens. Good in lowlight and fast enough for indoor photography. Colour are sharp and contrast is fantastic. Slightly heavy and has a humongous hood, excellent value. bought off TradeMe at NZ$1200. Built like a tank but not as solid as old-school Nikkors. Recommended if you need a zoom for low-light situations.

ReplyDeletehehhehe
Wah didnt know you got such a nice lens collection in such a short time
If I move to NZ, I should switch to Nikon to be able to pinjam your lenses...kekekke
Anyway, really envy those scenic places you got there and I'm sure that super wide angle is a gem to use. Post more bro
wassup bro! thanks to your blog, my fingers got itchy also ler... hahaha, can't believe this Google AdSense, earned US$9 within 3 days! is this a scam? anyway, will be buying a D90 when i go back this December. join the dark side la, or alternatively you can borrow either my d40, d80 or future d90 if you are here for a holiday. trademe is really amazing, sometimes can find really good bargains, bought half my lenses on trademe. trademe works here because shopping malls close early about 4pm on weekends and 6pm on weekdays, WTF? also, the postal courier system is very trustworthy, so no missing or damaged items.
ReplyDeletethanks for the compliments, really like the sigam 10-20, contemplating of swapping it for the nikon 10-24, but have read negative reviews about it, maybe nikon 12-24 safer bet, but super expensive la... cheers
